Academic Summary | The 110th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Urological Association

The 110th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Urological Association (JUA) was held in Kobe, Japan, from April 20 to 23, 2023, and our Japanese distributor partner, MC, brought Leap's biopsy needles to the exhibition for promotional display.  

After gained PMDA certiϐication in last October, Leap biopsy needles have been ofϐicially serving the Japanese market. At the beginning of this year our ϐirst batch of goods arrived in Japan, then Leap biopsy needles Goldenϐire series were tried out in major hospitals and partners across Japan under the promotion of our Japanese agent, MC, and in local market, we received very positive feedbacks reporting that Leap's biopsy needles were of high quality, reasonable design, and excellent experience.

In the exhibition hall, it was a surprise for us to ϐind that Leap's biopsy needles were not only displayed in MC's booth, but also displayed together with other devices in the display booths of major equipment manufacturers; we also discussed the product trial use with the doctors, who gave the high appraisals of our products, and further provided us with more suggestions for improvement.

Leap team attaches great importance to the promotion in Japan. In order to better serve our Japanese customers, we took the opportunity of the Japan Urological Association Annual Meeting (JUA), sent a strong team led by general manager and business director and consisted of biopsy R & D managers, international product managers and their crews. During this annual meeting, our team supported the marketing promotion, visited the MC and its subsidiaries, in where we discussed the application value and business strategies of the biopsy and sensory control product line in the Japanese market.

In order to better listen to customers voice, Leap team visited famous hospitals in Osaka, Tokyo and other cities to conduct technical support and customer interview. 

During the visits and technical assisting with Japanese opinion leaders in the ϐield of urology, we learned about the status and development trend of urological diseases in Japan. The professor praised that Leap's biopsy needle was the ideal tool he looked for long as it’s very suitable for Asian doctors' hand touch, and has comfortable puncture strength, needle tip angle, and the ϐiring feeling. During our technical support for the surgery, it’s seen that the professor's team behaved very efϐiciently in transperineal biopsy puncture guided by fusion imagining. Leap Goldenϐire series biopsy needle, as 14 pathological tissues were all full and rounded in 14 times of sampling biopsy, which made the surgical experts very satisϐied.

Afterwards, Leapmed product team went to various hospitals in Tokyo, Osaka and other cities to conduct technical support and interviews. Keeping the original desire of "listening to customers, keeping improvement", Leapmed commits to providing biopsy series products to satisfy global customers.

During our stay in Japan, our Japanese agent partner introduced the popularity of Leap products in Japan. MC President was very excited to tell us that Leap biopsy needles have received excellent feedback in the Japan market. For basic product, It would be great if received 60% positive feedback in Japan, but Leap's product got a very rare score as received more than 90% positive feedbacks in trial user! 1721809402.jpg

During the meeting, the president asked the R&D manager of Leap Biopsy by name what was the biggest challenge faced by the Leap team in progress of the biopsy needle development. The Leapmed team replied, "The founder of Leapmed is a senior engineer with double majors in mechanics and acoustics, and our team has many talents in specialized ϐields, so every Leapmed product is the collective wisdom. The biggest challenge we face is that European and American brands have strong patent protection. When designing and developing products, we have to avoid existing patents, so we need to make the innovative development to achieve the same function so as to avoid patent risks and generate Leap's own patent." Mr. President recognized Leap's awareness of intellectual property rights and further agreed with Leap's concepts of innovative development. Mr. President thanked our team for providing such an excellent product, and expressed his amazement at the craftsmen quality and striving spirit in young generation of Chinese today.

The recognition of Leap's overall product line by the Japan market and customers is not only a recognition of the product quality control and the spirit of excellence carried by the Leap brand, but also a recognition of Made in China and the Chinese brand. Leap, as a domestic ultrasound interventional total solution provider, will be obliged to bring our “Made in China” to the overseas market. “Made in China” will have a great future!
