The 7th World Congress on Vascular Access (WoCoVA) was held as scheduled from Sunday, October 16th to Tuesday, October 18th, 2022 at the Megaron Athens International Conference Centre (MAICC) in Athens, Greece. Leapmed brought its independently developed "Ultrasound Guided Vascular Access Puncture Solution" across the sea to Athens, the capital of the ancient civilization Greece, to show the world “made in China”, Leapmed set sail for international market once again! 

The WoCoVA Congress is a biennial multidisciplinary and multidisciplinary event aimed at updating knowledge on vascular access and sharing experience and knowledge on future trends and innovations. The Congress had many leading experts in the industry sharing innovative trends in the industry, including technology, materials and tissue innovations; there were also doctors and nurses from all over the world sharing overviews of vascular access and frontline vascular access practices in their respective countries, and actively discussing how to optimize the patient experience of the whole process of vascular access taking the patient as center. 

In the Congress, veteran giants such as BD, Vygon, Teleϐlex and 3M were presented at the exhibition. Leapmed, as a manufacturer of ultrasound interventional solutions, also a China medical enterprise, appeared at the exhibition, attracting a lot of international attention.  

The Congress gathered a large number of experts to make in-depth discussions on many topics, among which the introduction of ultrasound into the vascular access was considered to be one of the most important trends in vascular access in the past 10 years, which plays a crucial role in the development of vascular pathway, under this major trend, Leapmed ultrasoundguided vascular pathway biopsy guides were born. 

Dr. Antonio La Greca (Italy) shared the application of ultrasound-guided venous vascular access and came to Leapmed's booth to experience Leapmed's vascular access products; Dr. Peter Carr (Ireland) shared how to perform peripheral venous cannulation under ultrasound guidance and said that Leapmed's vascular access biopsy guide can greatly improve the accuracy and efϐiciency of vascular access puncture, which makes it especially suitable for teaching frontline nurses.  

Our old friend, Ton van Boxtel, the chairman of WoCoVA, the organizer of the Congress, also came to Leap booth to discuss the development of the vascular access industry and its products, and shared the original intention of founding the WoCoVA society and the development and evolution of the vascular access industry in the last decade.
